born loser

so i bought a 2004 yz250F from a friend cause it was too good of a deal to pass up. the bike was a gift and he has plenty of bikes as it is, so he sold it to me for dirt cheap. less than dealers pay! put the bike on Ebay hoping to make a qucik sale to get some profit from the bike and the winning bidder seems to be a deadbeat. its been 3 days and i have neither seen nor heard from him. oh well, its is just my luck i guess. then this saturday i get into a fight with the wife and come into work and hour late. monday i get written up for it. 3 writes up, final notice, next time im canned. then, 2 weeks ago i got food poisioning and spent the night in the hospital. my luck just seems to have run out. with all this, plus my busted lip i got from the Atreyu concert, it seems i cant win. just kinda depressed today. plus my wrist and lip hurt.

Be thankful thats all you got at that concert. Nowdays it seems people dont know the idea about a mosh pit. You dont punch them, knock em over and kick em. Your just sposed to bump into each other, and if you knock someone down, you help them up. Sheesh, there are people bringing razors and whips into mosh's. Well i hope your luck turns around for you. Why not just keep the bike, since yours was stolen?

Re: born loser

i am not gonna buy a bike for awhile. the injured wrist and the promise of new technology for the 2005 models is just too tempting. plus, i am going to be needing surgery and i dont want a bike sitting around tempting me to ride it. lets just say that the 2004 yz250F i bought was brand new, title in hand, never ridden before and i sold it for $4600 and still made a great deal of profit off it.

Re: born loser

why don't you take it to a dealer and trade it in. you'll get more than 4600 for a trade in. heck if it's never ridden they could take it and sell it as a new bike, and no one would know. why not try it that way?

Re: born loser

i thought about it but since the 2005 are gonan be here in a few months the bike is gonna depreciate heavily. better to sell it now, make a prfit, and hang onto the cash for an 2005 model.

Re: born loser

you still got a good 5 months till the 05's are out. so ya better sell it quick. I'd go see on a trade in though. It's fast garanteed cash, and i'm sure you could get more than 4600 for it.

Just make sure you follow up and file a Non-Paying Bidder alert. It may be a little early now, but make sure you do. If you let this idiot get off scot free he's just bound to do it again in the future. Help make eBay better.

Re: born loser

yeah. i sent him his last email he will recieve from me. i told him he has 24 hours to paypal me a deposit on the bike ori will leave negative feedback and report him to EBay. hopefully i will hear something soon. otherwise i gotta do th e whole bidding thing again. unless someone on here wants to buy a new 2004 YZ250F for $4600 ?

Re: born loser

If you fill out a non paying bidder form, sometimes ebay will refund your relisting fee if the bike sells the second time around.

Re: born loser

well it is a possibility of comp problems, business trip, or there are numerous things that could cause him to not be able to get on. BUt most likely a dead beat.

Re: born loser

Why would you ask 4600 when you KNOW you can get more? That doesnt make sense. Anyone smell fish?

Thump_This 04-27-2004 09:58 PM

Re: born loser

its called getting a bike for a good deal and trying to sell it to make a profit. could care less how much more i make, i set my LOW price at $4400 reserve on EBay since Motorcycle Borkers is sellnig their for $4995, kinda had to compete with them.
