boots?

wat size boots should i get i wear about a size 9 in all my shoes (skating kind) and should i get it now or wait till i get better. I ripped a fat whole in my old shoe and need somethin to ride with. i can get new shoes and i can get mx boots or just another pair of normal kind wat should i get?

Im also thinkin about goin trail instead of mx will my yz handle it alright? i still pound on these trails/dirt roads but until i ride all the roads i might do a bit of stop and go.

the guy i rode with was a little snappy and the type of mx we got aint much but the spot its at gets the most attention i felt if i rode trails then i wouldnt have to deal with them. and im sure i can find similar spots to the ones at our mx area{i doubt u guys would even call it that}[ a couple of woops a hill a long mound the form of a hotdog with lips going across it and acicle with roost berm which connect the woops and crosses the hot dog on the ends]

call me antisocial but i also dont like to share my bike with people (i mean jerks who pick on you in elementry and wanna be ur friend because u have somethin they dont and its hard to say no because if they're in a bad mood they'll kick ur ***)

Get the BOOTS!!! Being good or being bad has nothing to do with it. It has to do with safety.

As for the trails, your YZ should be fine.

hey if its not too late, try to get the alpinestars, tech 7's. i used to have a pair of em and they last quite a while! Now i got some Sidi's though.

Like Woody says get the boots ,'Stars are about the best, and it really saves you when you catch a peg( we have all done that and MAN! does that hurt) why don't you do BOTH trails an MX, theres no law that says you have to do one or the other

Yep, as was said get the boots.

Besides a helmet they are THE most important gear you should have.

Alpinestars are excellent, Fox makes a good boot as well.

I have heard excellent things about SIDI boots as well, in fact I think I may try a pair of them for my next set.

I just bought a pair of Fox Forma Pros wow the most comfy boot I have ever tried. I really enjoy wearing them while riding but like all of us as soon as I am done off they come its so hot with big tall boots on.

You HAVE to get boots. I was thinking boots are just stupid thing that the rich kids wore until my cousin convinced me to the get them. He was in a MX wreck and swears he would have never walked again if it hadn't been for the boots.

Well I got them and a month later, I'm saying the same thing. I know I wouldn't be walking, at least for a year or two, if I hadn't been wearing boots.

I got the Fly 805 boots. Hands down the best boots for the $. My riding buddy bought Tech 8's and was pissed off once he put my boots on that I paid 3 times less for.
