Black '08 CRF 450

Have you guys seen this???



This has me thinking.....

I saw a 250 at the dealer here as they where prepping it when it sold. He told me they were limited in numbers and who got them(dealers) was a lottery type system. They got one bike 2008CRF250R Black, it was very,very nice and had things that were not on the standard R model.

They are normally pretty hard to find. I'd just put black plastics and wheels on a normal R rather than paying the over inflated price that they are sure to charge.

It's like $300 extra.....by the time you did graphics, plastics, rims, re-laced the rims etc....I will pay the 300.

Yeah we have one here at my local Honda dealer and it's been sitting there now for about 5 weeks now..

Not sure exactly where it's posted, but rbm33 has that bike and it's very sweet looking!

I'm not a big fan of the all black look (rims specifically), but it does definitely look sharp.

I sure am man, I rode a CRF the other day and loved it. First time in over 17 years I have owned anything but a yamaha.

We will see it isn't for sure......yet. I will know in the next 30 days or so.

As do I on the blinders!!!

The bike just fit me better, being 6'4 and 230 I am a bigger guy for bikes and the whole thing fit me better. The power was MUCH MUCH MUCH better then my Yamaha, my bike is really mellow and I find myself really having to ring it out to get over jumps like my tabletop. I jumped on the honda and did it with much less effort.

I was also impressed with the turning capibilities of the bike, my bike has a center out push that is irritating to me the honda carved.

I think I just want to try something different.

...I was thinking more the lines of green since my boy bubba's showing, but that heckle is for another thread. How bout the fuel Injected suzukis?? I havent heard a word about them. It seems as if everyones been waiting for EFI and I thought we'd be hearing more about them by now. Are they not out yet?

Handling and motor..Id say those are improtant enough difference makers. Law dog has an 08 Honda...you talk to him about it?

I was going to wait for the fuel injection but I think I will let it be on the market for a year before jumping on that.
