So, I was in the garage this past weekend installing my ice race tires and guards and doing all the normal adjustments to make the bike "ice race ready" and my wife comes out and says. " Why don't you just buy a new bike for summer and keep this one all geared up for ice racing and then you won't have to spend all this time changing it over every year?" Which is EXACTLY what I was going to do anyway....... but now I won't have to explain why my old bike looks so shiny and clean all of a sudden I thought it was a no brainer at first, easy decision. One new 2007 CRF250. But NO, I have to go surfin the net and get all confused. I know some of you will say "huh", but I am really horny about the 07 Husky TC250. Yep, that's what I said. HUSKY. I know they're different, that's what I like about them. They got some pretty trick stock parts and I think they look good. And they are $1000 less than the Honda. Any thoughts? And no, I have not ruled out Honda yet. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

My Honda dealer is 40 minutes from me and the Husky dealer is 60 minutes. Both have good support. I know the Honda will be reliable, who knows about the Husky? And Char, don't go posting anymore pics of that white Yammie, that will only make me want one of those too. |

I catch a few rides with Husky owners now and then. Nice bikes, everyone that has one loves them. Lots of older ones too so I suppose if you take care of them theyll take care of you. Go for it.

I have a husky TE-410 and i love it. The build quality is outstanding and the parts are easy to find even though you wont need them. All the parts on the Huskies are built about 120% better than all the Japaneses bikes. If you decide to get the Husky you'll be glad you did... you will be different than everybody else on the track, and it just plain looks cooler than the Japanese bikes too.

That's definately something a motorcycle enthusiast loves to hear from the other half!! Had you considered the KTM? Not quiet as exotic as the Husqvarna but has a solid package and is different than the big 4. What do you think? Just throwing bikes out there! At least it's not a bad predicament to be in!

That Husky is impressive! Buy two, one for the living room, you know conversation piece, and one for the garage!
