Those pesto eating italians are up to their crazy antics again..This is their idea of a motor for a 4 stroke MX contender, beautiful motor and apparantly revs up to 14 000 RPM..daaaannnggg
but can you imagine the maintenance on this bad boy..

I cant wait to see what their bike looks like though, should be sweet..

That thing looks pretty trick, and it's fuel injected, so no stinking jets to worry about!

I bet it would Rip and it does look very trick but now instead of having 1 topend to do you have 2 ...Plus lets say its a 4 valve like the CRF. Now you got twice that since you have 8 valves,you have twice as many topend parts to worry about. IMO they should have stuck to a single cylinder but thats just my 2 cents

I think that's sweet. I like the V twin idea, but I have to agree that it sucks when you have to tear into it. 14k revs though, that's crazy.

unless the rules change for FIM and the AMA you will never see that engine in an MX bike, Maybe for duel sport or desert not sure the rules there.

But Motard and dirt track, Can not wait for Next years AMA DT Series
