I used to be know as Mr CR5 then Mr KX. Well in my last thread i posted that i was moving to Australia after having enough of the bad wether in england

Well here i am in sunny OZ and im loveing it just got mi self a job as a engineer first thing i spent mi wages on was a small van pictured here.

And then i picked up this buet yesterday after going to see aload of dud bikes i decided to push the boat out and buy one from a dealer its a 2000model.. DR400
After being addicted to 2strokes i thought it was time for a change so i thought id see what all this thumper buisiness was about

Hey guys thanks for the replies its good to be welcomed back This was always my favorate forum so i new id get back on here, Ive just been waiting to get miself a MXbike.. How ya been MotoMan????

2kHondaCR500R As far as the DRZ is concerned thats a tough question but ill try and answer it..

Firstly the DRZ doesant toutch the CR5 on power. In the lower gears the CR is far more powerfull but in higher gears the DRZ seems to have alot more pull to it. It feels like it has alot more topend speed.. But im not sure about that one.. I could pull the front end up on my old CR5s in any gear:
Where on the DR it will only come up in first or second..:

The DRZ is a much smoother ride as it does not have the acceleration of the CR5 you dont find your self going through the gears so quickly, but as far as general rideing is concerned thier the same.. You see the CR5 has the tork of a 4 stroke cos with a big 4 strke you can be in anygear poodleing along and rip the throttle open and take off and thats the same with the CR5..

But thier will always be a soft spot in my heart for a CR5 without a doubt my favorate bike ever.. as soon as me and mi girly get our apartment sorted i will get miself another CR but it will have to be a fairly new one..
But on the whole im happy with the DRZ its new well set up feels nice and solid and fairly light.. It doesant feel like its gonna fall to peices when you land a jump
