anybody with knowledge on 06 or 07 charger?

I will be test driving one tonight, we are looking into a charger or silverado for my fiancee. Charger looks great but come on, it's a dodge. My knowledge of dodges are gas guzzlers and poor trannies. With mercedes involved the transmissions are supposed to be fantastic... i can't find any reviews of this car from a "normal" person..... let me know what you know, thanks.

Chargers are ugly!!!! Don't do it or you are in for a sure fire divorce battle

Haven't heard anything bad about them...but seriously not liking the style.

Jeeez, you guys are a bit harsh with this. One of the guys here at work has one so I called him and asked his opinion. He has had his for a year-ish and no problems to speak of. Typical new car with small attention to detail issues. He likes it.

i worked on dodge vans for 5 years in 99 to 04. We went through trannies like no other. Anyhow, we decided against the charger at this time.... We think another truck would be better. Since the new body style just came out we will wait until the rebates kick in and grab a 4x4. Cars just lose their value too quick....




And, the charger is still a dodge.....

The new charger is sweet. My boss has one, and the thing is awesome. He has the 6.1L Hemi, and it puts out 425hp right out the box. That's more power per liter than the legendary 426 Street HEMI that reigned supreme in the 1960s and 1970s. If that's not muscle I don't know what is.

My wife has a dodge .......durango with the hemi.No problems and runs better smoother ,faster than my chevy. Dodge has pretty good products these days. Now if it was a honda...........

i agree with macho393, im a hardcore chevy guy but i saw an 04 hemi ram on a used lot when i was in the market and bought it cause the price was right and now im very happy that i bought it, its fast and sounds sweet and my regular cab has a ton of room compared to the chevy reg cab, i have a friend with a new charger and he loves it, no tranny problems with either one, that was the 90's rams/durango's and vans with the 4 speed get the 5 speed auto and youll be ok
