Makes me sad that I sold all of my old LPs as well as my LP player. I started buying them all in cassette then CD's and finally gave up!

Keeto...we went to Half Price Books today and bought 3 LP's for $12. I got RUSH 2112 (it appears and sounds brand new) and wow that was great. My brother has most all of my old records......may have to go knock on his door!

Great taste in music like Char said. I love the 2112 album as well as anything by Rush with Tom Sawyer and YYZ being my fav. We used to use YYZ in the crank it up contests... sounds great at 200 Decibles! My friend blew his back window out when that long bass guitar solo starts. Good thing the judges have ear muffs on!

Just thought of something. YYZ is my fav song and I ride a YZ. Whod'a thunk it?

I had forgotten the drum solo on the live album. Best drummer ever IMOP. Thanks for the trip down Nostalgia Lane.

Satch,
Great job bringing your kids up on "classic rock", It never entered my mind while attending Rush concerts in the earlly 80's that they would be listed as classic rock. One on the all time classic rock bands !!
As for albums, Rap would not be here today if it was not for the needle and vinyl. Maybe we should have gone staight from 8 tracks to cd's : !

Awesome Satch. From one classic Rock lover to another, that is sweet man.

And you are right, there is something about that scratching sound when you play a LP....just brings you back.
