Default Adding another bike to the stable. :D

Although it’s not a dirt bike, this will be a fun bike to RESTORE and RIDE.
It’s a 1984 RZ-350 that is currently on boxes, several boxes. The whole idea for this is to restore the bike to show room condition. My plan in to take my time (years) in order to make sure that nothing is missed.

The two pictures below show the two options I have. But both of these options are Kenny Roberts “Signature Additions”.

Let the fun begin.

Char,

I absolutely love the Yeller and Black. The bike I’m getting is the red and white. I just need to make up my mind if I want to restore to the original “VIN #” colors or switch.

Good thing I’m planning on taking my time. Lots of other choices too.
Like:
Do I keep the RD-400 carbs on it?
Do I keep the Supper Pipes on?
Do I keep the aftermarket air filters?
Do I keep the newer swingarm?

Whats a fella to do???

Keep the white and red! When you say RD carbs, is that what came with it? It def doesn't run RD400 carbs stock. Shares allot of common parts with the banshee, so plenty of aftermarket support with things like reeds, etc. Have fun with it!

Very cool Boyd. I have a friend that owns a pair of the red/white bikes.

I'd keep it red and white but I know you have a soft spot for the "hurricane Hannah" look. Can't wait to see some pics of the actual bike and the build!

I really dig the Hannah retro but I also say if the original color was the red/white then that is what it should be. Gotta add a little bit of blue somewhere for the obvious reasons!!!

The original White and Red does come with just a bit of blue.
If you look real close you’ll see it.
