Exclamation This is it!!!!!!!!!!

I have written to several magazines about doing a test of the 144/ 150 against the 250Fs in a real shootout. Well, guess who I received an email from - Jimmy Lewis, editor of Dirt Rider!!!!!!!! Here is what he wrote:

Arrange the bikes? I’ll do it, I’m not scared. You are right about the vocal two-stroke minority, I know this.

But we do lap times as well. We have radar guns. We’ll do it right, you know.

So are we talking stock bikes? Or modified ones? Or a price cap?

Jimmy Lewis

Editor

Dirt Rider Magazine

MXA never even bothered to respond! I will be following this for everyone to read. What do ya'll think about stock, modified, price gap, etc?

Hey Guys,

Don't want to sound stupid, but I guess when you're ignorant you cant help but sound that way.

In the rules, is a bored out 125 allowed to race against the 250Fs.

I would like to see this shootout. Should be fun. I hope Dirt Rider still has some test riders who know how to ride two strokes.

I like to bash moto monthlies more than most people, I think. Dirtbike has made some really nice changes. Unlike the others I have read in the past, DR seems to actually find people who "know" about engines and suspensions. They do real life things that would help a guy with a 5-10 year old bike.

Then there are ones like MXA who start their modifications with "graphics".

For me, Jimmy Lewis says it like it is. There are some who don't care for him but I don't know any dirt bike editor that can out ride him. I was lucky to pour gas for him when he won the Baja 1000 with Johnny Campbell and followed his Paris To Dakar adventures.
I also would match his wrenching abilities and race savy with the best
