Right on Pete, if the same R&D dollars that has gone into 4 strokes over the last 10 years was aimed at the 2 stroke program we would have the bike you describe.

Well Woody, I do bleed Husky red but I still love my '01 Honda CR250 ice racer
The CRF150R in my garage is tons of fun too.

The batteryless EFI uses a capacitor for the initial charge.

Default Still winning on the KTM 350 SX-F

KTMís Antonio Cairoli has won both races at the Dutch MX1 motocross world championship to maintain the new KTM 350 SX-Fís success.

The KTM factory designed and produced a 350cc engine to replace the previous 450cc for the former three time world champion Cairoli.

The 450cc engine used previously for 12 years, was too powerful for the current motocross world champion.

Despite the bigger engine allowing for faster speeds, riders complained of a lack of control causing fatigue in long races.

Cairoli is so far the only racer to downsize his engine, ensuring he preserved control over his KTM 350 SX-F.

Cairoli from Team Red Bull secured his second consecutive success in the Netherlands after finishing ahead of Steve Ramon on the Suzuki RM450X.

I checked out Allesi's 350 in the pits at the SLC SX and it looked sweet in person. Get me some bionic knees and I'd put money on one today!

Well he didn't win last weekend, finished 4th in Spain. Yes he's leading the overall by a small margin, but it's no run away win. In fact his biggest problem seems to be contesting the start, he's had a couple of good ones but in general the 450's gobble him up. He's the best rider in that class so consistency is his best asset, but he is by no means running away from the pack on a super bike. GH will be interesting to see what their like on a hilly fast track.
