I currently ride blue, but rode a new 450SX Katoom this past weekend and coundn't believe how well the bike handled, right out of the box. I've never tossed a leg over a bike for the first time and had it feel that right. Everything about it was great, but the handling was spot-on.

Another one won over by the new KTM's How did you like not having to kick start it?

I could have included all the manufactures but the 5 main are more sought after. For example:There is no Husky dealers in FL,or gas-gas dealers,or TM dealers.Which is disappointing because I would ride a TM over anything any day.Such higher quality, better built and much faster than any of these 5 bikes.A TM is everything the ktm is but much better but cost more, probably wont here that often.More than a ktm,What?.Check this out:

I know I do not post alot here but the choices of mx machines for 09 boils down to what color you prefer. They have all come along ways and all have their seperate little differences that they are almost alike. A good rider can win on any of these machines listed. The fact that the prices of mx bikes going through the roof every year will become the deciding factor for some. I am hoping that the $$ does not effect this great sport of mx in our future and turn it away from the fun factor. We are starting to notice more trucks and tents in the pits of many local tracks this year. Oh well sorry for the rant and my vote is Honda all the way.

Good point CR27,but they still have their distinct differences, who knows what the new crf450's differences is ganna be.for some reason the rm's have always turned better, the yz's have always been great in the whoops and kawie has always been well rounded same with honda.

I had a crf450 09 out here Saturday and the owner was breaking it in. One of my guys pulled up and asked me if it was a trail bike out there running. The 09 does sound like they have muffled it down alittle bit. Maybe it is how the header pipe is run this year? RUN red. Run Red. I will admit the 09 is a nice piece of work.

It def. has a different sound then your traditional 450 does, no doubt there.

Yeah, it sounded different, but I liked the throttle response.

I don't want to hear about it.

I am just hoping someone will have one at Red Bud this weekend I can try....or even better someone will bring one to the house....then they pretty much have to let me ride it.

Yeah, did I mention, I'm pretty sure I was the first one to take it on the track?
