On your first event, just concentrate on finishing. Try to stay up with someone on your row that knows how to keep time. Ask around a lot and you will eventually catch on. Good luck! There are a lot of things to learn but hang in there and ask questions!

A special test section is where they raise the speed limit and the difficulty to take points from you. You wont know where they. just ride with someone that knows a little something and HAVE FUN.

Your club may be different but here are the basics. Like I have said about 3 times, at your first event, don't worry about time or checks or anything else. Just have fun.

There is a lot of good reading on enduros out on the net. As long as you are with riders that are time keeping and are good at it you will be fine. They won't be going into checks early. Stay with them and don't pass them.

If you think you won't be able to hang with them or fall and lose them, ride your pace and try to catch up. If you don't catch up no worries it is better to be late than to be early.

After reading the great link Keeto provided try this one.

Hope this helps.
