Default Tooele MX 07/04/2007 - Photo Report :)

Well, we had a great day at the track. I managed to capture quite a few awesome riding moments. I REALLY did miss riding with everyone, but taking pictures was the next best thing. I'm going to have to do this more often.

The riders -- Metal Mulisha CR250 man is our very own Khen, the white Yami with no numbers on the sides but 83 on the front is Woody_YZF, the blue yami is my brother in Law Jason (I think he has a name on here, but I have no idea what it is???), then the Yellow number plate with 76m is ... I think is name is Adam, and then finally the no numbered KX250F is Dave. Then we also have a boat load of pics of the little guys riding. They consist of my kids, my brother in laws kids, my brothers kids, and Dave's son.

I did manage to get some riding in on Khen's son's CRF150R -- And let me tell you those little R's are FAST! I was really really impressed. Very nice bike, and I couldn't believe how much power those little bikes have.

Oh, onto the important stuff.

Here are the full albums
Tooele MX - 7/4/2007
Tooele MX Kids - 7/4/2007

Some of my favorites

Caught these as they drove by. Gotta love that mounted gun

Probably my favorite -- I also have to say, I really like my bro's new AXO Gear. It's pretty sharp. Of course, I am a slave to fashion (me and Big E) so of course I like it right

Hope you enjoyed as much as enjoyed shooting this.

You can of course check out my recent photo's @ Motocross Photography & Links - www.mxguy.com

Awesome pics as usual! I had a blast out there.. The track was really muddy in spots and it was my first time riding deep mud on a bike, so I laid it down quite a bit. But it was good practice for sure.

It was good to ride with Jeff and co., I picked up some pointers watching/following them. I'm used to the built up ramps when I ride with the Metal Mulisha (I really should pull the stickers off my bike, I think people are expecting a show when I arrive at the track)

The CRF150R is stunningly fast isn't it.. I still can't believe they can get that kind of power out of that little motor.

GREAT pics! Looks like the perfect way to spend the day.

I like Jeff's gear too...very sweet looking. I also like the gear that 76M has on. I've got a set like that on the way and I freely admit to being a slave to fashion...it'll look sweet with my bike.

Which lens were you using, Woody?

ha, it must be the water/mudd. Because that's about all those 2 tracks have in common... MUDD!

I thought so...

BTW...my lens is now in Texas. Think UPS would mind if I drove to DFW and picked it up?

They probably wouldn't care, but you might have trouble getting it from them, especially if the truck is moving

Cool pics. That track looks darn dry. Good for blowing out berms though!

What's the deal with the civilians in the half-tracks?

Nice work Camera man. There were definitely some sweet pics in there. The bad part is I can see how bad my posture and my technique is. Thanks for helping with my sag and now I just need to figure out if I want to use a corner or a jump shot for my avatar.

They water, but some of the corners need additional water that's for sure.

The civi's in the half-tracks were due to the day of the year

gurlz..... I sure am glad guys don't do that stuff, or I would get majorly harrassed every time I rode for NOT being in fashion with my yellow/black fox 360 pants that must be 6 or 7 years old and my blue No Fear Jersey that is at least 7 years old, my blue fox helmet and my yellow bike... I must look like such a geek.

Nice shots Jonathan! Looks like a good time was had by all.

Char, I wish I had of known your lens was at DFW - I would have hijacked the truck!

Thanks Jonathan, that is very generous. If I ever see size 32 again, you will be the first to know. My 34's are waaaay tight at the moment.

Seriously, thank you for the offer.

Great photos! Looks like a fun place to ride. Living in the NW, we get to play in the mud all the time. Whether we want to, or not. I miss riding in the desert.
