Urgent News: Kawasaki Contingency for AMA Texas State MX Championship

Wortham, Texas (November 9, 2007) - Kawasaki Motor Corporation has announced that the 2007 AMA Texas State Motocross Championship hosted at Freestone National MX this coming weekend, November 10-11 will have factory contingency totalling $13,500.00. This is the only amateur event on the National track and will certainly test riders after seeing how rough the track was at the National this past Labor Day.

All the normal age group and A/B/C classes 65cc and up are covered to include the new Women Pro class. With all the Pro classes having a 200% payback, some Kawasaki riders are sure to make some coin this coming weekend at Freestone. Tony Miller said "the only change to the track is the Texas 12 Pack. We are toning them way down for the small bikes on Saturday and even Sunday big bikes will not be see them as big as they were for the outdoor national. We hope everyone can come and just enjoy some fun races."

Below is the payout and classes Kawasaki is covering. Note that the contingency program is under the 2008 rules from Kawasaki.
