Need five Oh riders for 03/24/05 afternoon

Weather permitting Thursday afternoon, March 24, I have clearance from the wife to go ride. I would like to go down to Outlaw but I would need 4 other riders for them to open the gates. Anyone interested? 4:00PM until dark.

If your not up for that anyone got a place I can meet you to ride that afternoon? Legally? Someplace within an hour of Akron.

Come on guys, throw me a bone here I'm dieing to ride my new toy.

PM me and I'll give you my number. I know of another track we can go to about 15 mins. south of Outlaw if you can't get the people up. I prefer the other place for many reasons. Anywho, my buddy owns the otherplace and I can get us in there whenever.

I'm bringing a digital cam, a helmet cam, and a camcorder. Bonus is, I'll probably have a buddy with me that is recovering from a collarbone injury to take pics, get footage.

MV, we definitely want some pics and descriptions of you and the new ride. I can't wait to hear your first impressions of a 'real' ride on it. None of this up and down the neighborhood stuff. :

I will post up some pics of the track a little later. I just got back from the first outdoor ride this year as well as first on my 05 yz250 and I'm whooped!!!

The track is mint guys, could even take a little water. He will have all prepped up for us, bring others if you can!

That sounds so sweet Jeff, man I can't wait, I didn't sleep at all last night thinking about it. If you guys haven't figured it out yet I'm a bit of a insomniac and a lot hyper.

I thought I was going to be able to get out this weekend but I had to take my truck in to the shop - Spider gears and carrier bearing - ouch $$$$. But better now then getting stuck an hour from home on thursday.

I'll check with a couple guys and see if they want to join us. One has an Evolution Class CR250 I think its a 1980 The other has a 03 or an 04 YZ250, both are older then me! Both where big influences on getting me back into it.

Cool, get those pics up I want to see! So far the forcast is 47 and cloudy, I hope that holds true! I am going to work on my boss to see if I can maybe get off earlier. Would be nice to go home for lunch eat load the bike and head straight there.

You guys make me laugh. Not at you by any means. I just know how I get the shakes when I don't get to ride for a weekend and I can feel your excitement in finally getting to ride. I admire you for being able to last a whole winter of not riding.
Here in Oklahoma, some of us actually prefer winter riding as opposed to that 95+ degree heat in the summer. We rode on January 6th this year at 28 degrees for a morning low. Some of us had to pull-start our bikes. I think that is the coldest we have ridden for quite sometime but we normally ride all through the winter.
I'm glad you guys are thawing out up there and would love to see some pics of your ride. I'm also hopeful that several of you will get together and form an Ohio group of ATM members. I know we have a great time down south.
Post some pics and fill us in on the fun of your ride! It's obvious we have all been bitten by the same bug!

I got the ok from the Boss to come in an hour early everyday this week so I can leave at noon on Thursday. Which means go home have lunch with my kids and out the door by 1:00 getting me to the track around 2:15. Is this ok with you Jeff?
