Default MMI 4 Planning Thread

I know this is a bit early, but I thought I would throw a thread up to give some general ideas and get some feedback.

At this point none of the local tracks have any schedules posted for next year, are choices for these tracks would be:

Log Road Motocross
REd Bud MX Official Website
Motoland...Ride IT!

Makes no difference to me which one y'all want to hit, we will let the popular vote decide that one.

I think last years timing worked out better then in the past, so I am thinking early May as far as the dates go, of course this will also depend on which track everyone wants to hit.

Of course we will have a day at my house, or more if you so choose, I also have 2 other private tracks that are top notch close to me, one is geiger's which makes red bud feel small...and I am not kidding, and one is a good friend of mine over in Angola, both these tracks are available as well, and both of them have something I don't' have.....water trucks.

All that being said....if a few things work out on my end the way I am hoping my track may see a VERY large extension to it and perhaps the addition of a dozer as well.

So....give me some thoughts guys/gurls!!

I'll say there's a 50/50 chance I can make it again. Red Bud gets my initial vote but I'm up for anything. Riding new territory is it's own reward. I need a solid date so I can put in for vacation before December. That would increase my chances of being there. The Michiana crew is awesome to hang out with!

I'm going to do my best to be there. I don't really care which track though, so whatever is fine with me.

Jedi, I would say that would be possible to have the date by then, normally they have the dates up around the first week in Dec. I was also thinking it may be cool to have it around spring break for those of you with kids that ride, that way they could come as well.

I will say there will be ALOT more locals this year, I have met a ton more riders this year that have become regulars at the various tracks I mentioned.

I am looking forward to this MMI being the best one yet.

Default Jake's Track Tour

Howdy everyone.
I am the "Angola" guy that Jim refers too.
First a little about the track.
7 acres
1 mile in length
Water Truck
Cultivator for ripping up track
2 miles of trails on location.

Heres the tour:
Start by leaving the parking area next to track and heading down the downhill triple:

Jump down hill then head toward uphill

Sweep back around and jump up the hill

Land and jump this table then sweep left

Go straight after sweeper then turn 180 left then single then downhill

Sweep right then jump up this uphill

This is the landing for the uphill and face of the table top

Now jump small triple

Just for the fun of it here is a video from last weekend at my track courtesy of Jakes mad video skills. This is the rebuilt 90'er.

You driving (taking your bike) or flying? I need to make more money soon, so I can get to these events. They always sound like a blast!!

Driving really isn't an option unless we have a lot of time off. It's about a 30 hour drive I believe, and gas prices don't look to be our friend. So in short, I would love to be there with my bike, but more than likely I'll fly. Usually these days with gas as expensive as it is, I can fly for less than I could ever drive it.
