First welcome to bro. What part of Mi are you from?

MMI is a ride that I and my riding buddies around here put on every year (this just happens to be the 3rd year) we generally ride the track in my back yard (not really a "backyard track" pics will be posted soon) and then plan on going a couple other places, this year it will be my place, log road, and Red Bud.

Kids are MORE then welcome my son rides and I even have a kids track at my place for them as well.....its suitable for everything up to about a 65, and if your son/daughter is talented on a 65 the big track is doable as well for them.

The only money that is required is your logging, food, and entrance fees to log road and Red bud, riding at my place is free.

You are MORE then welcome, the more the merrier!! And if your close to the Sturgis/Bronson area, let me know, you can come down and check it out anytime!!!

sounds like a good time...I'm in Howell MI (30 min North of Ann Arbor) I'll see what I can do to bring my boys down in May. We're just getting into riding. I bought my kids bikes this past fall and I traded my quad for a CR250 so we could all ride together. Do you have any lodging sugesstions? A place where the bike would be safe on the truck, or a ground floor motel we could roll the bikes into at night.
How old is your son? My boys are 8 and 12.

My boy is 9 so that should work out really well.

As for the bikes normally everyone leaves the bikes at my place I have a good sized pole barn we can keep them all in, that way there is no worries. The hotels are only like 5 min away from my house so that works out good.

Here is some local hotels:

Best Western Howe Inn, Howe Indiana

Hotel - Sturgis, Michigan - MI - Hampton Inn Hotels

Motoman, have you figured the ride schedule? Is it Saturday at your track and Sunday at Red Bud? I won't be able to make a 3 day thing and be there Friday. Just curious.

Any chance you have the pictures of your track? would love to see it.

Friday will be at Log Road in the afternoon.

Saturday is my house.

Sunday is Red Bud.

And I will be getting some new pics soon of the track, we have changed some things around but that thread Doc linked too is pretty up to date for the most part.

I'll try and make it for Sat and Sun. kind of nursing a bulging disc in my lower back, I go in for a steroid injection in the spine on Monday. At least I could use my back problems for an excuse when I wuss out on the jumps....

I'll do my best to make it, no promises though. You'll be disappointed, I don't air anything out. I'm pretty sure the Tooth Fairy will put on a show for you though.

Yea, as if.... This coming from the girl that has a huge double named after her. Dont let her fool you, that gurl can rip. Itll take all you have to keep your manhood intact. Just keep telling yourself its all for fun and it doesnt matter when girls beat guys...at least thats what I do.
