Is that a good idea? Wont the place be packed with hardcore riders looking to get in practice before the qualifier...or am i just being a chikin?

Seriously though....you will have no problem, log road is a really wide track...and they separate the beginners, intermediates, and experts, so you will be just fine.

I'd love to bring mine with me!!!! Man Jim, I would really like to...and it is happening over my birthday weekend too. That would be a cool present from the wifey!! Some personnel issues (not mine) going on at work right now that may result in a position change for me. I need to see how that plays out before I could even think about attending the MMI.

Wanted to bump this one up to the top, May is getting closer!!

We finally have a forecast for the next week that shows temps above freezing both day AND night for a 7 day stretch starting tomorrow. I think we may try and ride the track for the first time on Saturday afternoon, we will be testing new routes for the track extension at that time as well....

I for one CAN'T WAIT to throw a leg over a bike again, it's been waaaay too long.

As a New guy to the site, what is MMI and who is invited? What about cost? Can kids ride? I didn't read the whole thread so forgive me if some of these questions are already answered...
