Default A Little Trail Riding at St. Jo. 6-10-07

A group of us have settled on June 10th for a trail ride at St. Jo (a.k.a. Bulcher, Muenster, Red River Cycle Trails). It looks like Char and family, Keetoman, and most of the Duncan crew can make it. If any of you folks want to hook up with us, you are more than welcome.

I was out there a few weeks ago and got to ride some of the Last Man Standing trails. It was great, those rocks and hills are even bigger than they look like on TV. And if you go through Meunster be sure and eat at Rhomers, coming from your direction Jedi you might have to settle for the DQ in Saint Jo I've been eating there after riding at Bulcher for about 30 years now.

We were there back in December. Here's a link to a few pics from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
We'll be checkin' out Joshua Tree and Texas Stadium. If I can find a way up Joshua Tree from the backside I'll come DOWN it where the pros went up.

Can't wait! Been begging Char and family to come ride for a while now. It'll be good to get out and enjoy some rocks again.

Jedi, try going up Joshua Tree - it's not as hard as it looks.

I don't know, bro. It looks pretty FREAKIN' HARD!
Tell you what. I'll bring the video camera and capture you doing it first. If you make it, I promise to go for it.

BUT.............. Only if you have the video camera rolling so I can see my crash.
Dang! I just realized I have a new tire too. That'll ruin it!

Deal! I'd rather hit hills like that ANY day than hit a double or triple! LOL

Sure...long as I can try it on your bike.

I might be in..been quite a while since I've done any sort of hill climbing. Take me up a few easy trails first though...so I can remember how to do it.

Hills....what the heck? Are you guys and gurl crazy or what? Don't you know what those things can do to you?

Have fun on your trip. We expect plenty of pics and video coverage. Make sure you get some of bunny boy. Haven't seen him ride a bike yet.

It's just a little molehill.

The bunny is camera shy.

I heard that bunny boy was fast and he can climb huge Colorado hills...so I am sure that this hill looks like a little ant hill to you.

I want pics of the Keetobunny!!! Char please get one for me. I have to see this. I have only seen him sitting on his bike in Colorado so a picture of the action would be great.

All my batteries are charging as we speak. We'll have pics and vid of the world-famous Keetobunny! I may even wear the helmet cam as I hit Joshua Tree behind him!

And it AIN'T no molehill.

I have only ridden twice since Colorado last year so don't look for fast or endurance yet. DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!

Mole hill... BLAH! I'll have to see how bad the rain ruts are before the assault but it will happen!

Vintageguy, have fun in Canada! Sounds like a great trip!
