Desert M/C National Hare & Hound

Below is my clubs flyer for the National on 1-25-09 in the Lucerne Valley of SoCal. It's a tough event and the best of the best desert racers will be there.

I missed this race 2 years in a row....not this year. Even though I heading up the 1 loop option I can't wait for this race. Last year it rained and Tracy got really sick. All I could think of was....no dust.

I am bummed. Tax season started a month early around here so I will not be able to be there. Dane & Jack will be there though. Jack has started the year off really good by taking a 2nd in class at Jackrabbits last weekend (coming from behind at 6th into the pits). He pretty much hasn't raced for almost 2 years out in the desert too.

DMC is my favorite spectator race (especially the end). Sometimes I hate my job. All of you be safe and someone else will have to take the annual group ATM picture this year.

I can't wait for this one since I missed last years! I going for 2 loops @ this year & I'll be running lucky #7 (W7). We have been practicing in the "easy stuff" so I'm sure DMC will bring it on. C ya @ sign ups & I'll look for you to mark my card @ check 1

I like part 2 a little more. Although its the Expert (Non pro) guys...I still feel a little more human....

I will be out there not sure if I am racing or not yet. I have to get my clutch fixed from last weekends desert opener the JackRabbits MC H&H. I fried my clutch 10 miles into the second loop so bad that my boot melted onto the clutch cover.
