FYI: they watered the hell out of the track last night and today (for some reason) and there was standing water; then they added more. They need to learn how to work a track; simply disking then soaking it w/ water isn't exactly what I'd call proper prep work; our limited time schedule wouldn't allow time waiting for it to dry. Somebody needs to tell them boys that you don't need to make a track mud to make it good.
The layout and wide variety of obstacles was refreshing; the power grabbing mud bog (rode my 250F) was more than disappointing; we all collected our $10.00 payment and came home after about 20 minutes of riding. I'll take the predictable Delta morning hour mud and ultra fast track anyday over SER - anyday.
disk (only if required)
walk all corners in w/ a little treaded bobcat (like the AX at Deseret Peak)
water (not soak)
I was thinking it was too good to be true that Fillmore was "all that". I should have gone w/ my instincts. Oh well... we live and learn.
