First off,I have to thank Jim for the invite to this awsome event. I can't say enough about the people we met there,Right off the bat they all treated us like we'd known each other for years. I have to say that for never riding motocross I was having a blast riding Jim's track ! the more laps I put on it the better I was liking it !! Learned alot about riding fast following Doc,Char and Jedi. DANG THAT GURL CAN RIDE!!! It's one thing to see pics of her ride but to see it in person is amazing!! The ole RM was rippin! But it's painfully obvious she's alittle old and totally out of her element.Being setup for woods. We were planing on leaving sunday morning early to head home, but we just had to try RedBud with the group! I can't quite figure out to describe that whole experience . Wow intense!!!! We rode the one 15 min. c class practice, and got three laps in. It was amazing tried to hold a line so's not to get run over or cause a pileup. Went down lightly in a corner on the third lap and got that sucker started has fast as I could to get out of the way LOL What a great time! Thankyou All,You all made a friend for life and I can't not wait for the oppertunity to see and ride with you again!! Now for GMB!! ........Jerry

Glad to have met both of you guys! It was amazing to see the transformation each time you went out. Before I knew it, you were getting some good air. Im sure your bro wouldve had the same progression had he not hurt his back. A couple more track days and you guys may rethink that whole "dodging trees" thing that you do.

I don't even know where to start. After putting dangerously close to 10 hours on the bike this weekend, I am finding it hard to make my fingers work to type. lol I think the best way I can do this is to break it down person by person, so here it goes.

First off, I have to thank Hersh, Randy and Shoup, without these guys help there is no way I could put on this event, you guys are the best friends a guy could possibly ask for. Thanks guys.

CCNut and YZNut, you guys are hardcore man!!! These guys show up and you could tell by the way they looked at the track they were out of their element, but they never shy'd away!! They both put in ALOT of laps at the facility and each time they went out, they were looking more and more comfortable out there, I was very impressed guys. Then when I saw they made it to red bud, I was way stoked!! CCNut came up to me and said, Jim, we WILL be back!!! I think they may like Moto.

whitey nocar, I didn't get to spend alot of time hanging out with you and your boys man, but I know my dog did!! Your boys looked really comfortable on the little track, and you were doing just fine on that bike, given its one of the first rides you had done on it!! You don't live real far bro, so anytime you want to come out just let me know!!

6pack, for not having rode for quite sometime and just coming off a shoulder injury, he got out there with all of us and tore it up. He had showed up on Friday and got to ride most of the day with just me, randy, and doc, had alot of fun that day for sure, thanks for coming up bro!!

Doc, what can I say about this guy other then he came up here on a mission this year!! He put some serious time on the bike on Friday and busted out the table table all on his own, I was coming around and I hear that wonderful sound a 2 stroke makes when you are on the pipe, I look over and he is busting it out!! I gotta give props to ya Doc, you really stepped it up this year bro!! I wish you could have made red bud with us, you missed out man, it was GREAT. Awesome pics Doc, you need to post some more up here for us.

Char, all I can say is wow.....Char has REALLY REALLY picked up some speed!! I was really amazed at how fast gurl is getting. Char accomplished her goals at my track, but the best thing of the whole weekend came when we got to red bud. We went out for the first couple practices and we all kinda rode our own pace settling in. I told her that I would pull off a couple of laps into practice on the 3rd time out and we would get over the leap together, well little did I know that Hersh had already paced her over it!!! I pulled off and when Char came around I could see it in her eyes, I can't even put into words the excitement I saw in her, when she said she did it, so I let her lead me over it the next lap. Just AWESOME char...AWESOME!! Hersh said when he did it in front of her just as he landed he could hear char starting the victory scream just as she left the ground, Hersh and I talked about that whole experiance until midnight last night! I really can't put that whole thing into words...you had to be there.

Jedi, This poor guy spent most of Saturday working on his bike. The frustration level he felt was just incredible, after a whole morning of working on it, he finally got her going and was out riding. He noticed Char jumping the step up on the track and the double table and he, I and I think Bill and Shoup were sitting together, and Jedi Looked at me and said, "You know she is jumping all this stuff clean, I have to hear this all the way home!" Then he turns to Shoup and says: "what gear do I hit the 90'er in??" Honestly I was like....NO WAY....he isn't gonna do it......well let me tell you something, Jedi doesn't talk smack!!!! He came at it the first run and was only 5' short, the next time around he popped it!!! I couldn't believe it!! Then he hit it about 5 more times perfectly! Great Job man!!!

Eddie with mx donations....Need to throw a BIG thank you out to you for the refreshments and just putting on a killer show with Nick on Saturday....you are more then welcome back ANYTIME bro.

The next part here, I am going to try and explain the red bud portion of the ride.....We headed up and I was tired, I even told Char and Jedi at breakfast that I probably wasn't gonna be riding much today, well as soon as we pulled in the gate, I knew that I was gonna ride alot!! I was literally hanging out the window of the truck screaming at Jedi and char behind me: RED BUD!!!! Yesterday was one of the funnest days of my life on a dirt bike, from me and Shoup doing battle, to char and Jedi jumping the leap, to later in the day Jer, me and Hersh doing battle.....it was just a AWESOME day. I have got to throw props out to Shoup, dude, you rode AWESOME yesterday bro, I have never seen you ride like that man, you and I need to go do some riding together more often!! We both pushed each other for one whole practice until I am sure neither one of us could hang on anymore, what a GREAT ride bro!! This day of riding reminded me just why we all love this sport so much, and what the sport is really about....friendship.

I also have to thank mxxx rrrider for letting Jace use his XR100 at red bud, the little guy put 4 1/2 tanks of gas thru the 65 on Saturday and the bike just gave up on him. Thanks Bill for letting Jace use it, he had a blast man. And another thanks to Shoup for letting Cori use the XR 80 this weekend as well.

In closing I just want to say this weekend was one of the if not the best weekends of my life guys. Thanks to EVERYONE that came out, and helped to make this what it was.

As always, it was great putting faces with screen names. Although I'm not sure I met Sikspak. I did more wrenching than riding Saturday so I missed out on a lot.
Just got home after putting 2,147 miles on the old Yukon. Char and I were so tired we were laughing at stuff that wasn't even funny. And she still has another 6 hours to go! I'll post up my version of the monster 90' table later. Right now, I have a bit of unpacking to do. And a bunch of sleeping so I can show up for work about daybreak.
I'm sure I will spend a little time winding down tonight. I'll try to put some of my thoughts on the weekend out there for you guys.

ummm, ok Charburger did the leap? Are we talking the double, or the whole leap triple? If it was the triple, I quit riding now.

It was the double, but that jump for a newcomer to red bud is nothing to sneeze at my friend!

I went to MMI with three riding goals.

1. Clear the 90’ table top at MotoMan’s facility.
2. Cleanly double LaRocco’s Leap.
3. Meet these two goals without getting hurt.

Char and I talked about the entire weekend on the way home and you guys would get tired of reading if I included it all in one post. Gonna have to break it up. It was two days of driving vs. two days of riding for us. Call us crazy but, it was worth it. Although, I was beginning to wonder on Saturday.
I'll get started typing out my experience with MotoMan's monster table.

Hey Eddie, I sucked at introducing myself to people, I was the guy with the 2 kids in a silver truck parked near you. My kids thought you were really cool when you gave us the case of Vitamin water for the road. thanks again!

In general.. I could have done a better job getting to know everyone so I appologize for that. Sounds juvinile but I just may be a little... understated, okay shy, until you get to know me. That and I did want to keep a close eye on my kids, next year I'll have "WHITEY" lettered on the back of my jersey and "WHO ARE YOU?" on the front.

Motoman I may just have to take you up on the offer to come back down, the kids are already asking when we can go back.

Ahhh, the mystery guy! My apologies, I shouldve asked Jimbo. I also want to thank you for the refreshments, way cool of you. Hey folks, this cat is a bad a$$ MXer. He was tearing it up and making it look SO simple. Hopefully you liked the few shots I had of you. I know I enjoyed taking them. Welcome to the site.
