Default Pre-mix Question

Just wanted to know if its ok to switch over to a synth premix without causing any damage to the engine / currently I use castor 927, also what would be the best synth to use, the bike is 01 380 mxc , jets are : 170 main 42 idle 85 starting, I just cleaned the power valve lots of carbon build up I bought the bike used and the jets were 165 main 38 idle 85 starting.

Everyone has different opinions and believes but honestly your best bet is just shopping around for the best value fully synthetic stuff that you can get your hands on.

I run Mobil 1 MX2T at 50:1,, the owner of the shop I bought it from is a top senior harescrambles racer in the state. He runs his 250 2-stroke with synth @ 70:1. But he doesn't pay to have his bike rebuilt. Not that he seems to have to rebuild his anymore than anyone else, I just won't take the chance.

But in general I've been using synth mix oil for a very long time and find it much better overall.
