Default Ktm 50 mini help!!

Hi all im in need of help. I bought a ktm mini 50, took it to local shop to get it running
After piston, rebore, woodruff, intake manifold, card rebuild and stator checked it finally runs. Problem is it has no power. I can hold the back end at full rev and wont move. I checked clutch which turned out broke and fitted a new one, still same problem

Any suggestions what it may be as its costing me a fortune for my 4 year old and still cant ride it

2001 mini adv with morini s5 engine

If it were mine I'd take it back to the shop that did the work and tell them they need to correct the problem... with everything you listed it should be a screamer.

Thanks for the reply. The lad in the shop told me with it being a kids bike adults shouldnt ride it so they couldnt test it. He said it starts and runs so i took it that was fine. It was only when i got home and checked the clutch i noticed the problem so replaced it and still the same. Its cost me quite a bit already and cant afford any more work. I cant see him doing it for free either

It's anybody's guess at this point... they could have left a rag in the airbox, installed the piston backward, not set the timing right...

Does it actually rev out or does it cough and sputter?

It revs fine but doesnt hit the powerband but when its on the ground moves really slow, lift the back end and it seems ok but still wont hit powerband. Im gunna ring the shop up today and see if theres a charge for him looking at it if not i will take it down
