Default KTM 300 PV help

My top end decided to go in spectacular fashion, and ive had nothing but issues with this bike so i bought another full top end kit to eliminate any more stress.
I cant seem to get these tooth segments to fall in place on the flap roller, any tricks?

Assuming you are using a service manual and not just winging it, it might just be one of those things that takes the right amount of patience to get it right.
