Usflag Ktm 1990 Plastics!

I have a Ktm 1990 sx. I just rebuilt the top end myself (Im 16)! I have the bike running like like brand new, but I want it to look good too! I have no owners manual or anything for the bike. It has the original plastics and original... well everything. I want a new plastics set. But I cant find any for a 1990! . Any help? Do new year plastics fit a 90'? Thanks!

May I ask not having the manual for the bike, how did you know the right specs/clearance when rebuilding the top end on the bike?

just wondering

A few years ago I split the cases on my '00 kx250 and got it all back together and running great without a manual. Just dumb luck a bit of mechanical inclination and a little help from this site
Like JMV said, just a testament to how easy it is to work on a two stroke motor.

If it's a '90 then its white so about any white Acerbis fenders would be ok. Clean the tank with Bleach White whitewall cleaner and a scrubber, makes it look a lot better when you get the ground in dirt out.

While I've rebuilt numerous motors without out a manual I'd advise getting one...
The times I've over tighted/under tightened etc I really wish I'd been less stubborn say I don't need one....
Good job on making it without one, however it's best you get one of the most important tools you could ever put in hands!!

On the plastics, I'd say that you can email some of the big brand names in plastics and see if they can advise( I've found plastics this way before or at least where to look )also try look for OEM ones ($$$) if available. Try email the guys at cyclebuy.com ( I think.... )they have been V.helpful....
