1996 KTM 360

Hi all, just bought an old 360 exc for $100..!!! Its been sitting in a mates backyard for over a year without being touched. I haven't owned a bike in years and bought this so I could have a play.
There are a couple of things that are buggered that need fixing so any help would be great.

Fuel stinks (sitting in there for a year)

Kick start won't engage unless lying on left side.( previous owner just roll started it every time)

Where do I start? Fuel or kick start?

Any mauals for these online anywhere to download?

I sure someone there could help find you a manual, but I would drain the gas out of the tank & carb first, so it doesn't turn to varnish & gum up the whole works.

I've pulled everything apart today.Drained old fuel, pulled off carby.... clean as a whistle.... even after sitting for over a year.
Next week will be the kick start. Any ideas?
