Default 1993 ktm 250 exc

     

I need a little help my bike is not getting any spark and is missing the voltage regulator is that why the bike doesent get any spark? and what does the voltage regulator do?

It does exactly what its named after. It regulates the system voltage so it doesn't put to much juice through it and melt stuff down. U could have lost spark via cried cdi or coil due to high voltage.

First things first... you have replaced the plug right? And replaced cap and wire? Reason I ask is sometimes it's the simple things, also disconnect the kill switch before you BUY anything!

I can't tell you how many times a shorted or broken kill switch has caught me chasing my tail.
