flasher kneebraces

hi fellow mx riders. im having a problem with an injured knee and i would like to hear from any body who uses knee braces and what kind do you think are the best. also if anybody could use their contacts and get me a good price it would be cool as from what i have seen on the net just about all the braces come from usa. happy riding big rik

Are you talking about the full on braces like Asterisk, CTi, or EVS type braces or are you talking about more of a knee guard?

BTW, I would like to move you thread to the general discussion forum since it will get a lot more view/replies there. Is that okay?

i had a dislocation this past jan. i use asterisk. they are pretty nice. lowco (where is he by the way?) swears by donjoy, others swear by evs web. they are all good braces and they can all be had for about $250.00 a piece.
a like my asterisks.

thanks for the quick reply i was after a set of evs web braces but they are on back order and i have already been waiting a month so im now looking at a set of donjoy braces . iv been quoted £550 . a few people over in scotland use braces but they are all different makes any you find it hard to get any opinion as everybody loves them. what time is it over there as you guys seem to be online all day. cheers big rik

I use CTI 2 for both knees. there expensive but worth every penny. insurance usually helps if you get referred by your doctor.:

I use asterisk and I think they are they best option out there in $500 price range. One thing I like is that the extension limiting device would break before a femur so that you don't risk a potentially worse injury.

I vote for the askterisks too. they are awesome. saved me a crap load of time. most recently at gmb2
