Hey guts I'm new here and am having a bit of trouble with my bike, it's a 1999 rm125 the compressons right at 120 which I know is a bit low, but it starts 1st or 2nd kick almost every time, has great mid and high end power and idols smooth. However when in a slow roll about 2 mph and you gunn it, it boggs down for a sec then takes off like a bat out of hell. It seems like it may just be running rich, I've played with the airscrew and it helped a bit but not much. Just wondering what u guys thought. Also I just cleaned the carb and cleaned all the jets.

Thanks, Mike

Hello all, I am a new member looking for a few helpful hints. I have a RM250 that just blew the piston. I tore the motor down crack the case apart and pulled ALL the little tiny pieces of crap out and inspected EVERYTHING. Got lucky only needed the piston cylinder was fine. The bike RAN LIKE A SCAULDED DOG before this I ran it on 93 with a mild octain booster at about 50:1 and 195lbs of compression. This is my first 2-stroke rebuild and my biggest worry is the break in any tips? what is the process and time?
