1989 kawaski kdx 200

hi everyone i have a 1989 kawaski kdx 200 that i just bought from a friend and the head and rear lights are not working i have replaced all the light bulbs but they still don't work any sugestions on what might be wrong and if so how much would it cost to fix. thank you

04 CRF 250R - spark, clean carb, new plug, no start - could it be the valves?

My bike usually starts and runs like a top. Over the last two months it has consistently started harder and harder. Its now unreliable as to whether or not it starts. I have a new filter, plug and a very clean carb....and I know it sparks. No signs of mechanical failure... could it be the valves?

Due to the rain we will be canceling today's race. We will start tomorrow and do 2 Moto's starting on the Main track and the Mini Wars will be rescheduled to a later date. The gates will open at 5:30 am and Registration will be at 6:00. That means if you didn't come out today due to the weather then you can come out tomorrow and sign up. Practice begins at 7:30 and we will Race at 9:00. If you did not come out today and if you are not on a team we can put you on a team or you can just race as an individual. Alpinestar SB vs Leatt Adventure

i have a 2004 yz125. i just bought it from a freind. the bike has every possible after market part on it. super fast, wheelies in every gear. i want to know what the best engine oil to put in it? also what is the best type of premix? i know there are many threads on this but i don't have time to sort through them. please gimme some help

hey all. I found a great place to ride the central Florida area. If anyone is near or doesn't mind the drive to Zepherhills. It's right on SR54 just east of Zepherhills. Its called Rancho or El Rancho. I thought it was a well known place but almost everyone i talk to around me has never heard of it. It's a huge place lots of nice shaded trails and a lot of big open areas as well, and mud pits if thats your thing. The worst part is you will not find anything online about the place, if you don't know someone who knows about it you will never find it. If anyone would like to go sometime will be glad to give directions. I can try to post some pics I'm going this weekend.If i can figure out how to ppost them.:rockout

Hey guys my old boots crapped out and I HAVE to find these boots. They are the Gaerne SG-10 limited edition model from last year in white with red trim and red soles.

Some websites are showing them but when I call they are no longer in stock and no longer being made. Here is a picture of them.

No Toil oil on K&N Filter

Anyone ever use No Toil oil on a K&N filter? The spray can of No Toil comes with a red spray tip for "cotton filters" but I'm not sure if No Toil will work with a K&N...

K&N wouldn't give me a definite answer (can't blame them I guess)...

I need a new air filter for my Timberwolf, and since it's quickly turning into a money pit, I'm trying to save where I can. The filter guide is rusted out and a new one is $30, the filter is another $15-$20...or I can run a K&N for $32 and ditch the filter guide.

I wouldn't run a K&N on my bike, but on the quad the air filter box inlet is so small and out of the way, I wouldn't mind running one with a prefilter.

1999 rm125 bogs

Hey guts I'm new here and am having a bit of trouble with my bike, it's a 1999 rm125 the compressons right at 120 which I know is a bit low, but it starts 1st or 2nd kick almost every time, has great mid and high end power and idols smooth. However when in a slow roll about 2 mph and you gunn it, it boggs down for a sec then takes off like a bat out of hell. It seems like it may just be running rich, I've played with the airscrew and it helped a bit but not much. Just wondering what u guys thought. Also I just cleaned the carb and cleaned all the jets.

I have been wanting to compile a list of valve clearance specs for a long time, but I never remember to do it, until I'm no where near a computer.

The idea is to get as many years/bikes valve specifications as possible and post them so we have a central place to look for them. It will also really help those without manuals.

If you can post both the Inches and Millimeters that would be fantastic since one measurement might be easier for some to use than the other.

The ones I know... and please, if you can confirm other years are the same (if I couldn't confirm, I did not include the year), I will adjust the years so they match, or simply add it to your post.

2005 - 2007 Suzuki RMZ450:

Intake: 0.15 - 0.20 mm (0.005 - 0.007 inches)

Maxxcross SX tires

Anyone had any dealings with this tire? I can get great deals on them through the ATM store right now for a 100-90-19 (250F tire) and the research seems to point toward them being a great tire for intermediate terrain. I just want some opinions from anyone who has used this tire. I know the IT is a great tire, so want to try out the SX.

crf 250 0ver heating

I am new to four strokes and I have just bought a crf 250 06 and just started it, as I was trying to get it to idle I noticed that the exhaust was glowing red within two minutes. Also the radiators were getting hot.

could it be overheating as the bike is still.
